Starbunz Nap

Forgot to post this up, bought Nirvana one of the new starbunz nappy, got it off TNN with two bumgeniuses for $20 inc post! Sweet deal. Pretty much brand new, Vana's is a piggy one. LOL not the best pic of Vana tryna run away! But hey, you can see the nappy lol

Dyeing wool

Just finished dyeing my wool, can't wind it up yet as don't have my wool winder til friday, but will definitely post pics again once it is wound up. I decided on teal and lilac. Photos aren't the best, is a lot more brighter and violet is alot more purple IRL.

One week til MIL here

Well this week has been interesting.... A whole lot of stuff has happened :( But would rather not go into that, as this is my happy place!! Got Nirvanas Tutu today, (thank you Leah) it is gorgeous! Two shades of pink, and black, very punky! Perfect for Nirvana hehe. I am planning on dyeing some wool today, it is soaking as I type. Just trying to decide on colours, will post pic once I have finished.

Nirvana started walking two days ago, just randomly, was awesome! Now I can't stop her! She is so proud of herself, it is sooo scary though!! My babygirl is growing up!!!

Went to Arthurs Emporium today and Spotlight and my SS bits together, and have ordered all the other bits I need, so will be able to get onto making that and sending that away soon too!
Still waiting for my SYS, can't wait!! hehe.
Hope my person likes what I have given them, will have to post some pics of that afterwards, don't want to give it away just yet lol. Was my first ever dyeing project! So quite proud lol.

Vickie (MIL) will be up on Friday the 14th, having a potluck dinner/party for DP and my BFs birthdays. It is DPs 21st, so will be awesome! Will have to post pics on that too. Then the following weekend vana is one!!

Sewing day 3-11-08

Well today I made up my gorgeous minky nappy, so impressed with how it turned out, its a Button Boo, medium side snap pattern. Made hayden some camo boxer shorts. And used Nicoles overlocker for the first time!! So proud hehe. And made some funky as liners, for myself and a friend of mine. With a snap in base, and snap on liner. First time making them too. So a very productive day :)

Parent and Child Show 08

Went to the P&C Show today, helped out on the bumbles stand for the morning, so got free entry, which was awesome. Met some awesome TNN'ers! Got my belated bday present from DP and DD, thin lizzy!! Yay! Can't remember the last time I bought something nice for myself, so was nice. Also got 2 tins of formula for $20! and bought Nirvana a couple of books for $3 for xmas, and a pooh bear pc game for when she's a bit older, couldn't resist as it came with a free Nemo talking toy! and was only $10! Also got some Rapid Recovery herbal family rub, so was a good day all round, and now the wallets empty again lol, but least I got a few things we needed! hehe, now to start saving for next year hehe......

A Friend of mine, that I met off TNN (Monica) and I have decided to do a bday swap each year for our bday and our daughters, Monica and I are a only a few days apart, and so is Nirvana and her DD2 Sarah. I got some gorgeous candles, hehe I have already burnt one of them several times.


And I got some gorgeous rainbow PUL minky, its soooo yummy!! Can't wait to sew up!! Oh and I also got a mini block of caramello choc, but can't add that pic.... one guess why lol.....
