My first ever knitting attempt!!
Haydens 21st and Alishas 20th
My DP and BF had a shared bday party this year, hehe was definitely a good night!! So since it was his 21st we had to have a few embarrasing things, we had a photo wall, from birth til now, and he had to wear a green wig and a big top hat with the numbers 21 on it. We had a potluck dinner/BBQ was an awesome night, good turn out and I think everyone had a good time :) Hayden got heaps of presents!! So I am glad he got to celebrate his 21st :)

Dyeing day
First I wound the wool around the chairs to put in the hank:
Then soaked in water and vinegar in the sink for 30 mins:
Then we drained the wool out, and put a splash of vinegar in each bowl of water, with a couple of drops of the colour we liked, mixed it all up with some hot water too, and then added the wool:
The colours we choose were lemon yellow and royal blue.
We then squeezed them out and made sure water was clear, then put into snaplock bag with a bit of vinegar and massaged it into wool a bit, and sealed it up and put in microwave for 2mins.
Then rinse under cold water, and hang over something to dry!
Will post some pics up once its all wound up

Secret Santa 08
Well I started on my SS today, my person asked for a WIP Knitting bag. Wasn't going to post on my blog, just incase they try and find out who thier SS was but meh... if they find out, then well done on snooping! lol So my person likes turtles, I hunted everywhere for some quilting cotton with turtles on it!! But couldn't find anything!! So found this, which came close enough, hope she likes it though!! Got the pattern from this link.... http://www.gotfabric.com/projects/0106tote.php. I am very impressed with how it turned out, and think I will have to make one for myself hehe. And made DP some more boxers today.I know definitely one of the things I am doing for my SS's son, have ordered the fabric, just have to wait for that arrive to make that, will post pics once it's all made :)

Peanut Butter Muffins!!
Are cooking in my oven at the moment... Netta you inspired me hehe, but didn't have any choc chips, so had to do something else, and thought I would do something savoury for Vana, MIL has just given me mini muffin tray and a normal one, so made 6 normal muffins, and lots of mini ones for Vana's lunches. Made with Kraft peanut butter, which of course is the best, so hopefully they turn out nice!! Will post pics later :)
